The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Argentron Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”), which operates Kinisma Studio (“Kinisma”): the website, the web dashboard and the Kinisma Studio desktop app. By creating an account or using Kinisma you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Kinisma for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf.
The service
Kinisma lets you describe a video and have an AI agent write, build, voice and publish it. Videos are made by the desktop app on your computer; the dashboard shows your projects, published videos, credits and devices. We improve Kinisma continually and may add, change or remove features.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.
Plans, credits and payments
- Free plan: limited videos each month, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Lifetime license: a one-time payment for the desktop app with your own AI key, for as long as we offer Kinisma Studio, including updates we release for it. It is for you and is not transferable.
- Credits: prepaid units that pay for AI provided by Kinisma. Credits never expire while your account is open, have no cash value and are not transferable. Each build is charged for the AI it uses; estimates are guides, not quotes.
- Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
Prices are in US dollars. Taxes such as GST or VAT may be added at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which may act as the merchant of record and whose terms also apply to your purchase. We may change prices; changes don’t affect what you have already paid for.
Refunds
If Kinisma isn’t right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of a purchase. We refund lifetime licenses within that period, and unused credits from a credit purchase. Credits already spent on builds are not refundable. A refunded lifetime license or subscription ends, and your account returns to the Free plan. Nothing in these terms limits refunds you are entitled to by law.
Using your own AI key
If you connect your own AI provider, your use of that provider is governed by its terms and it bills you directly. You are responsible for your key and for those charges. Your key stays on your computer.
Your content
You own what you put into Kinisma (prompts, scripts, images, recordings) and the videos you make with it, subject to the rights of others and of the AI providers’ terms. You give us permission to process your content only as needed to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to the material you use, including people’s likeness and voices, music, trademarks and screen recordings. AI output can be inaccurate or resemble existing work; review videos before you publish them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Kinisma to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights;
- make content that is sexual involving minors, harassing, hateful, violent extremist, or that deceives people, such as impersonation or misleading deepfakes;
- spread malware, spam or misinformation, or abuse the platforms you publish to;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits, metering or payments;
- resell or share access to the service without our permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Our software and brand
Kinisma, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the desktop app and the service under these terms. Feedback you send may be used to improve Kinisma without obligation to you.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Kinisma and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, don’t pay, or put others at risk; where reasonable we will give notice first. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example content, liability and governing law) survive termination.
Disclaimers
Kinisma is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its output will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Kinisma is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You will compensate us for claims and costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post changes here and, for significant changes, tell you in advance by email or in the app. Continuing to use Kinisma after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
