Install Kinisma Studio
Download Kinisma Studio for Windows, run the installer and open the app. macOS is coming soon.
Kinisma Studio is a desktop app: the videos are made on your computer, and your projects stay there.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- About 1.2 GB of free disk space for the app, plus room for your projects.
- An internet connection: the AI that writes and designs your videos runs online.
- A free Kinisma account. You can create one while you sign in for the first time (see Create your Kinisma account).
Download and install
- Go to kinisma.com/download and download the Windows installer (
Kinisma-Studio-Setup-<version>.exe). - Open the downloaded file.
- If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for apps it hasn't seen many downloads of yet.
- The installer asks:
- Who to install for: Only for me (recommended, no administrator needed) or Anyone who uses this computer.
- Where to install: keep the suggested folder, or click Browse. Then click Install.
- When it finishes, leave Run Kinisma Studio ticked and click Finish.
The installer adds Kinisma Studio to the Start menu and to your desktop.
Updates
Kinisma Studio updates itself. When a new version has downloaded, a Restart to update button appears at the top of the window. Click it, or the update installs the next time you quit the app. See Updates.
Uninstall
Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Kinisma Studio and choose Uninstall. Your projects in Documents\Kinisma Studio are kept.
