Payments, receipts and refunds
How checkout works, the receipt you get, what happens when a payment fails, and how to ask for a refund within 14 days.
Purchases are made from Usage & billing in your dashboard, or while choosing a plan when you sign up.
Checkout
- Choose Buy credits (pick a pack or type an amount from $5) or select the BYOK Lifetime license.
- You're taken to a secure checkout page from Dodo Payments, our payment provider. Taxes for your country are shown there.
- After paying, you're brought back to Kinisma. Credits or your new plan appear within a few seconds.

Your receipt
When a payment succeeds, we email a receipt to your account's address with what you bought, the amount, the date and a payment reference. It also has buttons to download the desktop app.
Your plan and credit balance are always in Usage & billing.
If a payment fails
If your bank declines the charge or the card details need another look, nothing on your account changes. We email you that the payment didn't go through, with a Try again button. You can retry with the same or a different payment method.
If money left your account for a payment that failed, it's returned automatically by your bank.
Refunds
If Kinisma isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase:
| What you bought | What we refund |
|---|---|
| BYOK Lifetime license | The full price, within 14 days |
| Credits | Credits you haven't used yet |
- Credits already spent on builds can't be refunded.
- A refunded lifetime license ends, and your account goes back to the Free plan.
- Nothing here limits refunds you're entitled to by law. See the Terms of Service.
