Export
How the Export button works in Kinisma Studio, from the plan check to the save dialog, progress, cancelling and where the MP4 goes.
Export in the Studio's top bar saves your video as an MP4 file, with the narration and music. It's available once the video is ready (the Review step).

What happens when you click Export
- On the Free plan, an offer to upgrade appears first: Free exports are 720p with a small "Made with Kinisma" mark. Click Export with watermark to carry on, or Upgrade.
- Kinisma checks your plan: this month's videos, the video's length and your credits. If something stops the export, the button says why (see below).
- Choose where to save. The Save window opens in your Videos folder, with the project's name as the file name.
While it exports
The button shows Exporting 42%. Click it again to cancel. When it's done, the button reads Exported and the file is shown in File Explorer. Hover over the button to see where it was saved, or click it to export again.
The file
- MP4, H.264, standard colour (BT.709), with the voice-over and music.
- The project's size, for example 1920×1080 (16:9), 1080×1920 (9:16) or 1080×1080 (1:1), or smaller if your plan's resolution is lower (Free: 720p).
- With a small "Made with Kinisma" mark (bottom right, or top left on tall videos) on plans that include it.
If the export can't start

Each export counts as one of your plan's videos for the month. A cancelled or failed export doesn't count, and any credits it reserved are returned.
